This meeting will be a joint meeting with the Western NC Turfgrass Association (WNCTA). This meeting will also serve as a fundraiser for Brad Floyd, Assistant Superintendent at Blackthorn Club in Jonesborough.
Fundraiser Information
On December 4, Brad was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia. He was hospitalized, placed on a ventilator and rehabbed for 139 days. Using a walker, but under his own power, he was finally able to walk out of the rehab center on April 22, 2022. His journey isn’t over, but God has watched over Brad, his wife Mandy and their children. We continue to pray as Brad improves.
One can only imagine the toll that this has placed on Brad and his family. Prayer helps with the emotional and spiritual part of healing. This fundraiser is an attempt to help ease the financial toll. WNCTA and their members are donating money toward this effort. ETGCSA will have sponsors to help cover the cost of the meeting so that regular meeting fees and any other money raised can go directly to Brad and his family.
