Chickasaw Country Club is currently seeking a motivated, hard working Assistant Superintendent. Founded in 1922 and designed by architect William Langford, and restored in 2018 by Bill Bergin. The private facilities are for the exclusive use of our members and their guests. Chickasaw Country Club underwent a greens complex and bunker renovation, including reshaping, re-grassing, and utilizing capillary concrete in bunker construction. Chickasaw Country Club consists of TifEagle greens and collars, Latitude 36 bermudagrass approaches and tees.
The Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in supervising, scheduling, planning, budgeting, training and leading crew members. This position requires knowledge of all aspects of golf course maintenance including operation of equipment, turf management, bunker maintenance, pesticide and fertilizer calibration and application, irrigation repairs and water management.

The candidate must be highly self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and lead by example. Must have keen eye for detail, while focusing on crew training and course conditions. Must be a hard worker with a strong willingness to learn and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Along with a passion for the turfgrass industry, and a whatever it takes to get the job done right mentality. The ideal candidate will have the dedication and commitment to want to learn and grow in the turfgrass management field with the goal of becoming a Golf Course Superintendent.
